Oh it is such a lovely warm floral scent, Christina, full and sweet! I never had a Mock Orange before because the plant they call "mock orange" in Phoenix is not the same. This is Philadelphus species, although I don't know which variety.
I live in Kansas with Gryph and our beloved cat and dog in a 1920 brick Craftsman fixer-upper. We have 100+ year old maple trees, a garden which needs serious revamping, and nowhere NEAR enough closet space or electrical outlets, and we couldn't be happier!
I can almost smell it from here!
